AIA HYROX Singapore 2026: Dates, Venue, Divisions and How to Prepare

Shop the gear in this story

Eight runs, eight stations, and an exhibition hall full of people cheering you through the last of your wall balls. If you have been pushing sleds at your gym all year, this is the weekend you have been training for.

AIA HYROX Singapore comes to Singapore EXPO from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 November 2026. Here is your complete guide to the race: the dates, the venue, the divisions, the format, the ticket rules, check-in and race day, and how to prepare in the weeks that are left, taken from the official HYROX event page and checked on 27 October 2026.

Dates and Venue: Four Days at Singapore EXPO

  • The Dates: AIA HYROX Singapore runs over four days, from 26 to 29 November 2026.
  • The Venue: Singapore EXPO, 1 Expo Dr, Singapore 486150. Parking is available on site.
  • Your Start Time: HYROX links your individual start time approximately 3 days before the event, and start time changes are not permitted, so keep the whole day free until then. The last wave of each day is currently estimated to start at around 8:00 PM.
  • Your Wristband: It gives you access to the venue only on the day of your race. To come back on another day to watch, you need a spectator ticket.

The Format: 8 x 1km of Running Plus 8 Stations

The HYROX format stays the same across the globe: you run 1km, then complete one functional workout station, and repeat that eight times. Each race is held indoors in an exhibition hall. The stations come in this order:

  • Station 1: 1000m SkiErg
  • Station 2: 50m Sled Push
  • Station 3: 50m Sled Pull
  • Station 4: 80m Burpee Broad Jump
  • Station 5: 1000m Row
  • Station 6: 200m Farmers Carry
  • Station 7: 100m Sandbag Lunges
  • Station 8: 100 Wall Balls

The weights change with your division, and Pro uses heavier weights than Open. Check the weights table on hyrox.com for your division before you train with a sled. For how to approach each one, read The 8 HYROX Stations Explained.

The Divisions: Solo, Doubles or Relay

  • Open: The standard HYROX race, done solo.
  • Pro: For the experienced racer, with heavier weights.
  • Doubles: You race as a pair, running together and splitting each workout station however you choose. Singapore has Open and Pro Doubles.
  • Relay: A team of four, with each teammate completing 2 x 1km of running followed by one workout station.

The Singapore schedule also lists Adaptive divisions for men and women, and Corporate Relays (men, women and mixed) on the Friday evening. Not sure where you fit? HYROX has a short Find My Level questionnaire, and it is only an indication: you can enter any division you choose.

The Provisional Schedule: Which Day Is Yours

HYROX labels this schedule provisional and subject to change, so treat it as a guide until your start time arrives.

  • Thursday 26 November: Men's and Women's Open and Adaptive, Men's and Women's Open Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
  • Friday 27 November: Men's and Women's Open and Adaptive, Men's and Women's Pro, Men's and Women's Open Doubles and Mixed Doubles, then the Corporate Relays in the evening.
  • Saturday 28 November: Men's Open and Adaptive, Mixed Doubles, Women's and Men's Doubles Pro, and the Men's and Women's Relays.
  • Sunday 29 November: Women's Open and Adaptive, Women's and Men's Open Doubles, and the Mixed Relay in the evening.

Racing with kids? AIA HYROX Youngstars Singapore, a race for 8 to 15 year olds, runs at the same venue on 28 and 29 November 2026. A spectator ticket for either event also gets you into the other.

Race Week: Check-In, Getting There and Race Day

HYROX says it will add the important athlete race information to the event page as the race gets closer, so a few details are still to come. Here is what is set so far:

  • Check-In: There is an early athlete registration and a race-day registration, but HYROX still lists their dates, times and location as TBC. Whichever you use, bring ID. Checking in on behalf of others is not allowed, so Doubles partners and Relay teammates each need to check in themselves.
  • Getting There: Singapore EXPO sits at Expo MRT station (CG1/DT35), on both the East–West and Downtown Lines. If you drive, car parking is S$1.80 for each of the first two hours, then S$1.50 for every 30 minutes after that, with no daily cap.
  • On the Course: There is a hydration station on the course, and your result time goes up on the leaderboard as you race.
  • After the Finish: You get the HYROX finisher patch and a finisher time with split timings for each workout, so you can see which station cost you. Each division has an age group award ceremony, and HYROX lists the ceremony times as TBA.
  • Your Photos: Sportograf, the official photographer, puts photos up about 48 hours after your race. Upload a selfie on sportograf.com and its facial recognition finds every shot of you.
  • Follow the Race: SportPlus.sg, our sister media site, follows the race on its AIA HYROX Singapore hub, with a race-week guide, stories and photos.

Tickets: The Rules to Know Before You Buy

  • No Flex: The cheaper option, for when you are certain you will make it. The official table shows no name change and no refund.
  • Lite Flex Add-On: One name change per ticket, up to 7:59 AM event local time 1 day before your race. No refunds.
  • Flex Add-On: A 100% refund up to 31 days before your race, a 50% refund up to 7 days before, and one name change up to 1 day before. Refunds exclude the Flex and service fees.
  • The Six-Week Rule: Tickets bought within 6 weeks of an event are not eligible for the Flex Add-On and are non-refundable, though Lite Flex is still available. With the race less than six weeks away at the time of writing, plan as if your ticket cannot be refunded.
  • Race Cover: AIA Singapore offers participants and spectators complimentary AIA Protect 360 coverage. The offer is for Singapore residents aged 18 to 65, and terms apply.

How to Prepare: Make the Last Weeks Count

  • Try Every Station at Least Once: HYROX's own advice on the sled push is to try it at least once before your race and to invest in grippy shoes. Do the same for anything on the list you have never done under fatigue.
  • Train Your Grip: The 200m Farmers Carry needs your upper back, your core and your grip strength, and it comes sixth, after five runs and five stations.
  • Know Your Pacing Zones: The HYROX VO₂ Assessment from FORGED by ReFormd gives you run- and station-specific heart rate and intensity zones and strategies for race day, as a Half Sim (1 hr 30 min) or a Full Sim (2 hr 30 min).
  • Find Somewhere to Train: Our guide to HYROX gyms, clubs and training in Singapore shows where to train.
